ABSTRACT
Even if the typological framework has no reality—and the present results point in that direction—the attitudes and functions still may exist as continuous traits, and have considerable meaning, while lacking the structural properties attributed to them. It would be wise to bear this possibility in mind in studies of the attitudes and functions, and their utility as measures in the personality domain.
