ABSTRACT

In 2010 a project was set up between two collaborating centres of the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI). These were the Centre for Evidence Based Practice, South Australia (CEPSA) based in the University of Adelaide and the New Jersey Centre for Evidence Based Practice (NJCEBP), located within Rutgers University, formerly the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey (UMDNJ). The project was known as ‘The Signature Project’ as all the participants ‘signed up’ to an 18-month knowledge translation (KT) project. The project involved a team of expert facilitators and researchers in South Australia, a team of academic facilitators and researchers in New Jersey and six clinical care sites located throughout New Jersey.
