ABSTRACT
In Chapter 4 we described a facilitation model that we have developed to operationalise the i-PARIHS framework. In Chapter 5, we then went on to outline a journey from starting out as a novice facilitator and moving to becoming an experienced or expert facilitator. In this chapter, our aim is to illustrate how a novice facilitator can begin to apply the facilitation model in practice. In the following chapter, we will continue this discussion, looking more specifically at the role of experienced and expert facilitators.
