Composites reinforced with fibres are as old as the creation of living multicells in the world and, based on this natural reinforcement the man conceived the idea of reinforcing brittle materials with organic matters long before Christ; that many years ago he reinforced clay with straws in order to increase the resistance obtaining adobes,
Technological development permited the creation of new materials which are partially reinforced with different industrial products with better results; for example concrete reinforced with steel. However, problems such as ambiental pollution originated in the elaborations, scarcity of prime materials, increase in the energy cost, etc., forced the research to develop new materials based principally on the use of local products of main availability and which needs appropiate technology.
