ABSTRACT
The concept of combining cement with some cellulosic materials to produce composite board dates back more than five decades. Dinwoodie and Paxton (5) mentioned that a light-weight wood wool board under the early 1930’s. Also, there was a report in 1947 stating that a cellulosic materials such as wood, straw or baggesse were mixed with protland cement to produce a light-weight board for use during world war II (6).
