Introduction: notes on method The narrative that follows is, in part at least, a personal account of how an unlikely group of people sought to challenge the current assumptions and the dominant view of British drug policy at that time, with the aim of replacing it with their own, and in doing so, achieved a level of success that was way beyond any they could have ever imagined possible.
