ABSTRACT

Apart from the title being a pun, a play on, a parody of naming a country, a nation, there seemed to be a play with documentary form in the first instance—interviewees talking as first subjects—and then this deconstruction in the middle where we saw it break down, that it was really a constructed interview, rather than something that was first person, subjective. Then the third part was really a catharsis, subjective, a number of different voices coming together, a whole break down, and I just wanted you to elaborate on that kind of form, because it is different from Naked Spaces—Living is Round, and harks a little more to Reassemblage, in terms of questioning documentary form, and deconstructing a number of devices.
