ABSTRACT
THERE LIVED Μ A CERTAIN VILLAGE, a little country girl, the prettiest creature that ever was seen, and so very good withal, that her mother was exceedingly fond of her; and her grandmother doated on her much more. This good woman got made for her a little red riding hood to go to school in the winter, which became the girl so extremely well that every body called her Little Red Riding Hood.
