The attorney's use of advertising and other promotion techniques, to inform the public of available legal services, has sparked controversy within the profession as well as the courts. However, the use of marketing concepts, as opposed to advertising techniques, has received less attention. Marketing concepts can be applied to all firms, whether or not they choose to employ advertising.
