Publications on Glutathione, 1983 to 1987. A Bibliometric Study

Publications on glutathione are disseminated within the international scientific community which uses the English language as lingua franca through bibliographic databases and indices, two of which are exclusively biomedical: the American Index Medicus/MED-LARS and the Dutch Excerpta Medica/EMBASE. From 1983 to 1987, these two databases and the French PASCAL indexed a similar number of publications on the subject (Table 1).
