ABSTRACT
This Indo-European language is a continuum of closely related dialects (see below) belonging to the Domari-Romani subgroup of the Western Indo-Aryan branch – its closest major relative, therefore, is Gujarati. It is spoken by perhaps 3 million people over large areas of Europe and Western Asia.
