A research agenda for Olympic reform
My assignment for this article is to pretend that I am the Director of the McGill Olympic
Studies Centre (which does not, alas, exist) and to provide a list of research topics which
I might assign to faculty and students. The topics are selected with particular (although not
exclusive) reference to the Reforms adopted by the International Olympic Committee
(IOC) in 1999, following the Salt Lake City bidding scandal in relation to the 2002
Olympic Winter Games.
