Developing a Framework for Assessing Visitors’ Responses to Chinese Cities
In broad terms, the core aim of this work lies in presenting a new integrative
framework for the assessment of visitor responses to cities in China. Further, by
considering ongoing studies in one Chinese city, that of Xi’an in western China, the
study seeks to illustrate some of the key elements of the suggested framework. An
assessment of the potential usefulness of the framework will be considered as a third
and concluding aim of this research.
