Educators experience many highs and a few lows in their academic careers and finding Corbett's (1999) book The Cheater's Handbook on display in ana tional chain bookstore might be considered a low. This small handbook pub lished by Regan Books, a division of HarperCollins, is a how-to book of deception but is labeled for novelty purposes with a tiny 6-point disclaimer on the back cover. Unfortunately, educators will not find this book entertaining.
