ABSTRACT

This paper presents a project in which virtual reality and game engines were used to improve the workflow and interaction between teams in the design process of a series of oil and gas laboratories. These interactive environments provided the possibility of realistic scenario based drills among the use of Digital Human Models (DHM) built from 3D anthropometric data and Motion Capture (MOCAP),

same workers performing daily activities in order to have their 3D DHM with their own movements.
