ABSTRACT

A reciprocating saw (sabre saw) is a type of saw in which the cutting action is achieved through a push and pulls reciprocating motion of the blade. Considering professional electrical sabre saw tools, typical working values vary between ∼1,000 to 1,300 watts, ∼3.7 to 4.2 kg, vibration total values (ah, triax vector sum) determined according to EN 60745 ∼14.6 to 50.3 m.s−2 (mean value of 30.6 m.s−2; n = 23 tools, right hand, according to C.D.C.).
