ABSTRACT

The analytical method of designing circular tunnel linings in the rock weakened by a double-periodic chink set upon the action of the gravitational or tectonic forces, external underground water pressure and internal water head is described in the paper presented. For the analysis of the lining stress state the jointed rock is simulated by a transversely isotropic medium of the equivalent stiffness. On the base of multivariant calculations the dependencies of normal tangential stresses appearing in the linings of different thickness at the every kind of loads on the relative joints frequency are given and analysed.
