ABSTRACT
The paper deals with the results of modelling the breakdown of benches with vertical slopes. Material properties were purposively changed during the test. Critical values of the model strength properties, that were equivalent to natural rock; value of relative buckling during the failure; critical values of some deformation parameters, corresponding to failure moment, were defined during the study.
