ABSTRACT

In this paper, three structural test methods along with software developments and applications are introduced. (1) Quasi-static test and control software TUST, three kinds of loading methods were employed in the quasi-static test: force control loading, displacement control loading and hybrid (force-displacement) control loading. The force-displacement control mode switchover can be performed smoothly during testing. (2) Multi-dimensional quasi-static test and control software TUMT, Six kinds of special loading paths were considered in the software TUMT on the bases of displacement control mode. (3) Pseudody-namic test and control software TUT (include one-dimensional, two-dimensional and substructuring techniques. The a -method and PC-Newmark method were employed in TUT.). All of the three tests control software that is based on the platform of Windows NT and Visual C++ has been put into practice in structural laboratory of Tsinghua University.
