ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: Flood hydrographs are needed for the design of structures and management of dam reservoir. This paper presents the application of Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) and Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) to flood hydrograph modeling of Shirindarreh reservoir dam in Iran. The results show that the Nash-Sutcliff value of ANFIS model are higher than those of the ANNs model, which indicates that the overall quality of estimation of ANFIS is better than the ANNs model.
