ABSTRACT
University students were surveyed regarding their religious orientation, prejudice, and the extent to which specific prejudices were proscribed or twnproscribed by their religious community. Racism was typically perceived as a religiously proscribed prejudice, and possessing negative attitudes towards homosexuals was regarded as nonproseribed.
