ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: In this paper, we review the reason why fuzzy risk analysis is praised highly by researchers, summarize two branches of the fuzzy risk analysis methods, and have a glance on two hot spots. The main reason is that, in many cases, risk assessment concerns complex societal or humanistic systems as well as technological or mechanistic systems with various sources of uncertainty due to ambiguity (fuzziness) in our cognition or perception of objects. “If-Then” evaluation, ranking fuzzy numbers and information diffusion technique are main streams to develop new fuzzy risk analysis methods. Operating comprehensive risk evaluation and Intelligent of Internet are two hot spots in fuzzy risk analysis.
