ABSTRACT

Several months ago an editor who published Ericksonian texts informed a colleague that interest in Ericksonian approaches is on the wane and that, consequently, she is reluctant to support the publication of any new texts on the subject. From her point of view, Erickson's uncommon techniques have been incorporated into the established therapeutic schools and his work now has little new to offer.
