ABSTRACT
According to The Random House College Dictionary (1988) as well as other dictionaries, the term "myth" can be used to denote as many as four different things. The one meaning that I will discuss in this chapter is that of "myth" denoting
a belief or a subject of belief whose truth or reality is accepted uncritically.
