Adolescents and Work

Cross-cultural research on the development of orientation toward work is still in its infancy and falls roughly into two categories: a small, but growing body of literature on the issue of child labor and its relationship to economic development in the Third World, and research on the labor market experiences of minority youth in industrialized countries, such as the United States.
