ABSTRACT
Our building was targeted in the first few days of the siege. We faced a number of obstacles. You can’t bring a roll of newsprint into the city when it’s besieged. There is no security for the approach to the building. You lose your phone connections. Later we lost our electricity. I don’t think there has ever been a paper in the history of journalism that published for three and a half years under such conditions.
