Hassan, a Case Study of Dyslexia in Egypt: Soad A. Shahin
Hassan is a 10-year-old boy, who was diagnosed as dyslexic at the age of 7. He is a healthy, good-looking child who is polite and has an excellent sense of humor. Hassan is a bright child who was very cooperative throughout the interview, answering all questions. However, during the interview Hassan was observed looking to his mother frequently as he was responding to the questions. When the interviewer asked him why he was doing this, he did not answer, but smiled. The mother interjected that Hassan likes to see approval in his mother’s expression.
