Inter/professional children’s services: complexities, transformations and futures: Cate Watson and Joan Forbes

In this final chapter we return to the complex issues and questions raised in earlier chapters to bring together the ideas and themes debated in the book. We use narrative and discourse theoretical approaches to reappraise the discourses and new knowledge about, on the one hand, inter/professional policy and practice and, on the other, practitioners’ knowledge bases, skills and identities discussed earlier.
