ABSTRACT
India’s engagement with the South-East Asian region in the post-Cold War period has assumed significant proportions and remains one of the top priorities of the country’s foreign policy. 1 India has consequently become one of the central pillars and players in South-East Asia at the dawn of the 21st century.
