ByRICHARD SOLOMON

Over the last 10 years, under the medical direction of developmental/ behavioral pediatrician Richard Solomon, MD, PLAY has established itself as “a community based/regional autism training and early intervention center dedicated to empowering parents and professionals to implement intensive, developmental interventions (IDI) for young children with autism spectrum disorder in the most cost-e®ective and eµcient way” (from the project’s vision statement). PLAY trains child development professionals to coach parents, typically at home, to help their child with ASD make developmental gains through play-based interactions.
