Paving the Way to College: An Analysis of an International Baccalaureate Diploma Program Serving Immigrant Students in California

Even though I stopped going to the pull-out ESL program in third grade, when I got to college I still felt my writing wasn’t that good. I did really well on the SAT in math but I did below average in reading and writing. But, the reason I made it all the way through college was because of the IB [International Baccalaureate] program. It taught me to persevere. I fi gured if I could do IB, I could do anything.
