ABSTRACT

To face the complexity and turbulence of the present times, many changes are on the way. One of them is ‘innovating the innovation.’ 1 This is one of the biggest changes brought by globalization, leaving behind the traditional linear models and considering innovation only as the generation of new products and services to keep firms competitive. The externalities and market failures partially induced by innovation are causes of the environmental crisis and social disequilibrium reinforced by contingencies spawned from their entangled relations.
