Reciprocal working by education, health and social services: Lessons for a less-travelled road

These wise words could have been written by a disabled activist promoting a social model of disability. In fact they were written over 40 years ago by Ron Gulliford and his longstanding colleague A. E. Tansley in their landmark text on the education of slow learning children (Tansley and Gulliford 1960).
