ABSTRACT
The Holocaust narratives of the Transcending Trauma Project (TTP) articulated survivors’ ongoing struggles with some of the most compelling questions confronting them after the war: Where was God during the Holocaust? Why didn’t he save my family members? Why did I survive when so many I loved were killed? These existential questions weave throughout the interviews as a disturbing subtext.
