ABSTRACT
Lee-Ann Kastman Breuch’s “A Work in Process: A Study of Single-Source Documentation and Document Review Processes of Cardiac Devices” studies the processes of writing and reviewing product documentation at a company that has transitioned from a traditional documentation development process to single sourcing. Because qualitative methods are an ideal means of studying not only business processes but also the social dimensions of the individuals’ work within the organization, her qualitative case study is a particularly apt basis for this article.
