ABSTRACT
Global age openness to the statement by UNESCO that “All cultures can contribute scientific knowledge of universal value” (UNESCO, 1999, p. 1) has motivated my introduction of an emergent Africentric developmental science perspective into the powerful international narrative on developmental psychology.
