ABSTRACT
In this chapter, the phenomenon of identity development of candidates is explored as it occurred within the preparation program. ’e purpose is to examine the process of identity development and practices of candidates as they encounter disruption-internally and externally triggered-and engage in agency. We conclude with a discussion of research directions in this ‹eld.
