ABSTRACT

The method of play is the same for both formats – start with number 1, which takes you on to number 2. Beyond this, the next move depends on the decision of the young person playing. Some instructions require the fl ipping of a coin (when the decisions are those of others, demonstrating that we cannot always predict what others will do), so make sure there is one handy. To play using the cards, print them on sheets of card and cut up to make individual cards. The number on the front of each card must be written on the back, as they will all be laid out on the table face-down in numerical order. The young person then turns over card number 1, and the game continues from there. This helps young people to see that there is a consequence to the decisions they make.
