One of the questions you will inevitably need to ask of yourself when working in the outdoors is what your starting point is as an adventure education practitioner designing programmes for different groups of clients. Much of your orientation will inevitably be related to the immediate physical and educational context that you are working in, but over time, the reflections of your clients should have a significant impact on the way that you plan. A key question in practice here, is how you evaluate your courses so that you might improve their quality. Is your starting point the programme you want to deliver or the people you are working with?
