Transition from school to work is a challenge for everybody, especially for students with disabilities. A smooth transition avoids unnecessary institutionalization, it makes students more independent, and it improves the quality of life of students with disabilities and their parents (Hughes, Copeland, Fowler, & Church-Pupke, 2002; Yaeda, Shibata, & Umenaga, 2000).
