ABSTRACT
Alexandre Emboaba Da Costa received his PhD from the Department of Development Sociology at Cornell University. His research focuses on black cultural struggle and anti-racism in Brazil. He is an Instructor in the Department of Global Development Studies at Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada.
