ABSTRACT

At the end of 1997, the Town hall of Madrid, motivated by the black spot caused by the density of existing traffic in O’Donnell’ street, one of the principal arteries of Madrid where it exits to the surrounding M-30/ M-40 motorways, especially in the crossing with Doctor Esquerdo street, decided to call for a bidding of project and execution of work, for the construction of a dual carriageway underpass under O’Donnell street.
