ABSTRACT
Sulphate attack is one of the mechanisms minimizing the effective life of concrete structures. Sulphates usually exist in significant concentrations in underground water and attack mainly underground concrete structures. The attack mechanism mainly depends on the cation of the salt (Al Amoudi, 1999).
