ABSTRACT
In this paper, an experiment was carried out to find the delamination of FRP sheets and concrete by using the electromagnetic method (Feng et al, 2002), and this paper aims to develop such measurement system. Measurement using electromagnetic waves requires the bandwidth and frequency of antennae that can perceive the width of the concrete and FRP sheet delamination. Antennae that are generally utilized have a frequency of 900 MHz∼1.5 GHz, which has a low resolution to find delaminations of on the mm scale. Thus, a high-frequency antenna with a frequency range of 10∼15 GHz was used and a signal treating method needed for this was developed.
