Albright, Joseph G. “Two Years of MiG Activity.” Air University Quar-983. terly Review 6:1 (1953): 83-89.

An examination of MiG operations between November 1, 1950 and October 31, 1952 claims those were four distinct phases in the enemy’s operations: (1) November 1950-August 1951, a build up of aircraft; (2) September 1951-April 1952, mass training by sending combat flights over North Korea; (3) May-July 1952, reduced activity while doing more training over Manchuria; (4) August 1952-early 1953, another training program over North Korea.
