The changing face of Vietnamese management revisited

WithChris Rowley, Quang Truong

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the key concepts discussed in the preceding chapters of this book. The book focuses on the gap and adding detail to the changing face of management in Vietnam. It describes the major findings in the key management and business areas and discusses their implications along with some possible future directions. The book draws on Human Resource Management concluded that in the coming years Vietnam faces many challenges in its development. It also focuses on marketing concluded that international firms could continue to play a role in transferring know-how and marketing skills. The book argues that Vietnam's currency system - such as price and exchange rate stability with pegging to the US dollar, and maintaining a low value - means that measures to tackle inflation are limited. It also draws on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) that, like many other emerging countries, Vietnam cans no longer hope to be an attractive country for FDI across all business sectors.
