ABSTRACT
Dr. Samson: Our next presenter is a professional classroom teacher of English Language Arts at John Norquay School in Vancouver, Canada. She is also the Vice President of City Stage New West. She came here with Dalene, who coached her through a narrative thesis. Patty asked if she could say a few words about why she has decided NOT to pursue a doctoral degree after having experienced the frustrations of the academic mandates during the acquisition of her Master’s.
