ABSTRACT
Shih-Men Reservoir is an important infrastructure that provides the potable water to inhabitants living in northern Taiwan, as shown in Figure 1. The ShinMen Reservoir was built in July 1956, and completed in June 1964. The type of Shih-Men Reservoir dam is earth rockfill dam with effective water storage for 25188000 cubic meters. The function of dam contains irrigation hydropower generation, public water supply, flood prevention, and sightseeing.
