ABSTRACT

The value of the design discharge is usually the basis for a hydraulic system to arrange appropriate facilities and to determine the dimensions of the facilities. The design discharge is also the basis to evaluate the corresponding risk of the hydraulic system. The maximum water conveying capacity of the hydraulic system is the implication of the design discharge. One method to determine the design discharge for a hydraulic system is to employ the rainfall-runoff modeling. This method is employed in this paper.
