ABSTRACT

In early 2003, the Health Communication Partnership1 (HCP) in Namibia was challenged2 with developing health communication interventions to: reduce the incidence of HIV infections, increase access to HIV counseling and testing and prevention of mother-tochild transmission services, help coordinate and harmonize communication interventions, and design, plan, and undertake a strategic information system to give program implementers the information they needed to plan interventions, as well as track behavioral changes over time.
